Make sure you have installed the EndNote plugin needed for your preferred text editor and follow these steps:
- Put the cursor in the place you want your citation to appear in your text
- Click on the EndNote menu on the upper bar of your text editor
- Select "Insert citation"
- Search for the article by inserting the name of the author or some words from the title
- Click Find and select the appropriate article from the results list
- Check if the citation appears properly both in the text and in the reference list at the end of your document
